A weapon of Japanese origin, the katana was a design centuries before its time. The nature of its design allows for immediate recovery after a strong attack, which would normally leave openings in one's defenses. Before the game begins, you must declare whether you are using the Katana Sword as a one or two handed weapon. At the beginning of your turn, you may change the Katana Sword to a one-handed (1 Hand Icon) or two-handed (2 Hand Icons) weapon. During any turn in which you have changed the Katana to a one or two-handed weapon, you cannot play attacks.
